A film about a tornado of emotions whirling through the head of a white man – the guide of a black blind musician. Ray Charles is the musician – a genius living in darkness and having the shoulder of his guide as the only connection with the world of the others. The complex psychological connection and the emotional clash of the two men – one black, the other white, serve as the artistic framework and scale of the film.
