A workshop within the 18th World Festival of Animated Film, Varna 2022

This animation workshop is aimed at children between 8 and 14 years old. Its theme is open, but the idea is to connect with the atmosphere and sensations of summer, as the most awaited and favorite time for children, in which they have the greatest opportunity to be free, have real fun and discover new and new fascinating things in the world around them.
The aim of the workshop is to stimulate the imagination and fantasy of children to create their own magical characters and place them in fantastic adventure situations, accompanied by lots of laughter and fun. Participants will be able to express themselves through one of the techniques closest to children’s essence, that of cut paper in colorful and diverse shapes.
Having fun and bringing their creative ideas to life under the camera, children will gain new knowledge about the stop-motion animation process, develop new skills in making an animated character and its frame-by-frame movement, and be encouraged to work in a team, which will bring to life the communication between them and will stimulate good mood.
